Real-Time Message Filter™

Real-Time Message Filter™ (RMF) is a specifically developed high-performance real-time engine that gives less than 50 millisecond response times against rule sets that can span to be hundreds of thousands. It deals effectively with an issue that has plagued the industry for years - the number of rules versus response time.

Once a set of rules has been provided for the RMF to work from, it is able to enforce them as it sifts content and censors out target words and phrases before they reach their intended recipient. The RMF’s rule set can be customised in order to deliver the requirements of each client’s code of conduct.

Designed specifically to help live chat environments protect their users and police their codes of conduct, the RMF extends the ECA’s state-of-the-art content matching capabilities to include targeted word and phrase blocking in real time.

Engine for Content Analysis™

The Engine for Content Analysis™ (ECA) is an advanced concept matching engine for all types of content. It is not simply triggered by key words but assess the content within a moving area around it, constantly analysing and gauging threat levels. Using statistical analysis, ECA determines a probability of how closely a concept matches a set of rules. For example, it can tell the difference between: Are you flying by Virgin; Are you a virgin and R u a V1rg1n, without any training from a moderator or CSR.

Originally designed to deal with the hardest conversational data of all - children’s chatter, the technology is applicable to any kind of conversional data. The ECA is particularly effective at uncovering abusive behaviour and bullying within relationships because the nature of this behaviour is expressed almost entirely within the content of the message, making ECA a highly effective early warning system.

Engine for Relationship Analysis™

The Engine for Relationship Analysis™ (ERA) is a highly sophisticated system that uncovers and matches behaviour types by analysing written dialogue. An intelligent, highly advanced machine learning - or self-learning - system, ERA can be trained to understand any kind of unique behaviour by providing it with the data sets. Over a period of time ERA separates out the key statistical components it will use to compute probabilities of a behavioural match from future data.

This unique, patent-pending technology was purpose built to protect children and young people from online predators by reading between the lines of online chatter. The ERA has been independently tested by the University of Cambridge and proved to be 98.4% effective in exposing grooming and predatory behaviour, which cannot be found simply by looking for ‘naughty’ words.
