Associate Designer

The Role

We are looking for a talented Associate Designer to join our Marketing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to build their creative design skills and grow within a dynamic and innovative environment.

As an Associate Designer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of creative projects. This includes digital marketing and go-to-market campaigns, a variety of digital materials, including presentation decks, web updates and assets, creative infographics, social content, brochures and reports, and the creation of both digital and printed business collateral.

This role will need to support the creative needs of our sales team, whilst ensuring brand consistency. We are looking for someone who is a creative problem solver, confident in their abilities and able to interpret creative direction.

The role requires an all-round designer who is able to work on multiple projects in a highly motivated, fast-paced and evolving work environment. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with teams across our business both in the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Senior Designer, this role will regularly create and assist in the creation of marketing and sales materials, such as collateral, reports, presentations and social media content.

The Associate Designer will collaborate with individuals across the business and assist them with both client-facing and internal business needs. This includes the creation of quick-turn-around work needed for high-level business and sales meetings.

Uniformity and accuracy are key to this role. The Associate Designer is required to uphold our brand identity and apply it thoughtfully and consistently in all work that they do.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree educated (Bachelor's Degree or higher) or equivalent, with a creative and diverse portfolio showcasing your creative voice and abilities
  • A high level understanding and ability to use creative software (predominantly Adobe Creative Suite)
  • An understanding of print and digital production processes
  • An understanding of presentation software (Powerpoint, Keynote and G Slides)
  • A general understanding of Microsoft Office and G Suite
  • Strong creative idea generation and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to confidently communicate ideas both verbally and visually
  • Effective collaboration and communication with team members and stakeholders across the business
  • Delivery often to tight, reactive briefs and deadlines while maintaining the highest standards
  • Time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects efficiently and simultaneously
  • Ability to follow and adapt existing brand guidelines and styles
  • A meticulous attention to detail and quality
  • Willingness to learn new skills and tools
  • A passion for design, marketing and content creation.


Desirable Skills

  • Video production, editing and motion graphics
  • Photography and photo editing
  • Understanding of web and digital interface design.
